EXCON 2023, one of the largest construction equipment and technology exhibition in the world, opened its door to welcome all the stakeholders at BIEC, Bangalore. Kobelco India put together an impressive showcase of our technological strength and service capabilities. This year we displayed our products with wide range of special attachments to think Excavators “Beyond Excavation” and made our theme on the same concept. Our theme for Excon 2023 was “Think Beyond Excavation” which means we are now asking our customers to not limit their thinking to only excavation. The products on display were:

• SK30 with Trenching bucket
• SK35 with AC Cabin
• SK80 with standard bucket
• SK140 with Rock breaker
• SK220XDLC with Tele dipper
• SK220 with Clam shell bucket
• SK 380 with Vibro hammer

Apart from above we also displayed a wide range of attachments –

• Electro-magnet
• Range of Rock breakers
• Demolition crusher
• Special utility buckets

We believe that any project where excavators are used, the application are not limited to only excavation. The need of attachments like rock breakers for handling the hard strata or mineral down-sizing, Amphibious for Desilting, Crushers for demolition, electro-magnet for steel scrap segregation, tele-dipper and clam shells for material scooping, vibro-hammer for sheet piling, mini excavators with cabin for working in cement plants machineries cleaning and many more are need of the hour. Few of these special attachments like Demolition crusher, Vibro hammer, Amphibious, etc are even costlier than the base machines. That means reliability of such expensive attachments purely rely on reliability of the base machine where Kobelco range of excavators are the most reliable partner. We can proudly say that Kobelco excavators are the most versatile excavators in the industry and can work with any of such attachments.

We have expanded the scope of offering to our customers so that they can timely execute their projects where there is a need of multi-application product.
Coming to our new product line we have introduced our 14 Ton range excavator SK140-10E and SK145XDLC-10E in a new avatar with a world-renowned ISUZU Japanese Engine which is compact, lightweight, has high power to weight ratio and is globally well accepted. Our 14-ton excavators are already popular because of its stupendous fuel efficiency and high reliability, and now with the ISUZU engine, we can assure our customers of further savings through fuel advantage and low maintenance. These models incorporate Kobelco’s cutting-edge technology and have been specially developed to suit tough Indian applications and conditions. These excavators are configured and manufactured keeping India-centric work conditions and customer needs in mind. Both models are true value-for-money products, promising sustained returns on investment, in particular for the road, infra and utility segments. A genuinely versatile and stable machine, it is suited for a variety of urban and rural applications.

We also displayed our proposed 8-Ton excavator, SK80 which was the main attraction at our stall. We thank our customers for showing positive response to our new entrant. The machine is of course made with Japanese technology keeping reliability, fuel efficiency and affordability in mind. We are targeting Brick kiln owners, hirers, small miners, road contractors, irrigation contractors, land development contractors for the 8-ton segment machine. The production of the same will start in H1 of year 2024.
New Kobelco Mini excavator SK35 with AC cabin was also on display. This machine is fitted with Yanmar engine developing gross power of upto 18.1 KW @ 2400 rpm. The machine set new benchmark in safety, reliability and fuel-efficiency. These new generation machines, purpose-built for the Indian Market, deliver an unrivalled level of quality in excavating and other applications.
