KLAUS Multiparking started its operations in India in the year 2002, already been present in the Indian market for over 23 years. Company has grown its operations within Germany & also expanded to over 80 countries worldwide. At KLAUS Multiparking India, we offer a range of innovative, energy-efficient parking solutions tailored to different segments:

  • Commercial: Fully automatic and puzzle systems designed for high traffic, low energy use, and smart space optimization.
  • Public Utilities (metros, railways, airports): High-capacity, fast-access automated systems that integrate with transit infrastructure, use minimal land, and operate with energy-efficient technology for smooth commuter experience.

What are your tech-driven solutions for efficient workplace parking?
KLAUS is always at the forefront of creating innovative & user-friendly products. We have already developed EV charging facility on all our products additionally, we are also planning to have a deeper integration of parking systems with other building management software & certain kinds of IoT applications for remote monitoring and preventive maintenance. There is a lot that is changing in the field, and it is an exciting future for the parking industry.

How do your parking solutions address safety and security concerns in public parking areas like airports, which include pedestrian safety, vehicle theft and damage, and personal safety?
KLAUS Multiparking seeks to form a long-term relationship with the customers and hence provides additional services that make sure parking systems function safely and reliably at all times. All of our systems conform to the top global safety standards and we have several built-in features such as sensors, locks & hydraulic controls that ensure the system operates safely at all times. Only vehicle owners or authorized personnel can operate the system, so there is no possibility of vehicle theft when the car is inside the system. In addition, KLAUS technicians provide regular trainings to users and educate them about best practices and other safety provisions.

This ensure a secure, safe environment for both vehicles and passengers in high-traffic public spaces.
What are your solutions to manage challenges such as limited space, peak demand, and traffic congestion, in India?

Traffic congestion is a problem that has plagued all of the major Indian cities, therefore optimizing traffic flow & maximizing parking spaces is at the very core of our operations. Our engineers work with architects and developers from the early planning stage to ensure that the best utilization of the available space. Different buildings pose different challenges when it comes to traffic flow, for example the traffic planning for a movie theatre will be very different from that of a residential building. It is extremely important to use the correct parking system based on the application & this is where our expertise comes in. We are able to customize our solutions based on the client’s needs & maximize their utilization of space & return on investment.

Multi-level parking systems consume a lot of power. Please indicate how you ensure energy efficiency in your multi-level parking solutions:
The statement that parking systems use a lot of power is an incorrect notion. To the contrary, parking systems with hydraulic technology consume very minimal energy and the operating costs are almost negligible to the end users. The core technology relies on gravity and therefore no electricity is used while moving the vehicle downwards, the motor is only utilized when moving the car upwards or horizontally. Typically, the system is used on average 2-3 times a day with a total cycle time of 2 minutes out of 24 hours & during the rest of the time there is no electricity consumption. In fact, having a dedicated parking space can save a lot of fuel and emissions which are otherwise spent driving around to find a space. Overall parking systems can be considered as a very good product for green building construction.
