What is the uniqueness of this project? What is the challenge in designing the structural system & why has steel been chosen?
The uniqueness lies in completing the erection of a 1.2 lakh sq. ft. PEB structure in a single seamless stretch. This project required precision logistics, synchronized execution, and round-the-clock operations.

Steel was chosen for its high strength-to-weight ratio, flexibility in prefabrication, and rapid assembly – essential for a project with such compressed timelines. The challenge was ensuring structural stability during rapid installation and managing material flow with zero tolerance for delay.

The project was designed as a high-clearance industrial shed with wide-span portal frames. The structural system used heavy-duty columns, rafters, and purlins – engineered for speed and durability.
Framework: Primary members – built-up I-sections; Secondary members – cold-formed Z-purlins and C-sections
Material : Over 450 tons of structural steel
Roofing & Cladding : Approx. 12,000 m² Sandwich PUF Roofing Panels, 4,000 m² PPGL wall sheeting
Sandwich PUF Panels: 1,20,000 sq. ft. of Sandwich PUF Panels were manufac-tured and delivered within 24 hours to support thermal efficiency

Any challenges faced during fabrication & installation? How was the issue resolved? What innovative techniques were used?
