Diamond Metal Screens Pvt. Ltd. was established in 1987 with a small set up for manufacturing of perforated metal sheets. In the past 31 years we have grown up to be India’s leading manufac-turer and exporter of perforated metal and allied products. Our manufacturing facility in houses state-of-the-art machinery spread over an area of 11,000 sq mtrs, teamed with 250 skilled personnel. Our mission is to be the most efficient perforated metal sheets supplier, satisfying each client require-ments to their exact specifications and ensuring on time delivery. Our perforated metal screens are supplied to the food, filtration, architecture, IT, pollution control and many other Industries.

What is your opinion about fenestration industry in India as far as your business is concerned.
The fenestration industry is coming of age in India, with new and innovative products ready to support the ever-growing construction and infrastructure sector. We support this industry by providing innovative and creative solutions built around the use of perforated sheet metal, by way of facade panels. Architects today are flooded with a wide gamut of material options for the fenestration. Balancing the cost and function factor of these elements is the key. We offer several options in our material – Type of material, coating types, perforation and design options. Discussing these options with the architect is all about finding the sweet spot in the cost-function matrix.

What are the solutions your company is providing to the customers.
We cater to the requirements of perforated metal sheets for various industries. Our facility has 1000+ ready tools to manufacture standard perforated metal screens. However we also have an in house tooling facility to be able to cater to manufacture perforated metal as per clients requirement. We also specialise in “pixel-perf” where we can perforate any image/design into metal. This is very popular with architects and mainly used for facades. We also work with architects to implement unique solution for perfora-ted facades, sunscreens, balustrade panels, anti-skid flooring etc. Apart from perforated metal we also manufacture apron conveyor belts used to food processing dryers, parts of pollution control equipments and cable trays.

Inflation is definitely haunting business all over, with an average steady 7% YOY inflation, businesses are rethinking and amending their strategies every year. In most of the cases, increasing costs are passed on to the customers. We try our best to minimize this impact by proposing cost effective solutions for an enquiry. Increase in inflation, notwithstanding the increase in fuel prices, falling rupee, is an added burden to most businesses. Yearly increment in salaries, increasing production costs are a constant challenge which we have to deal with.
