What does the Drythane® Spray Polyurea range offer?
Drythane® offers a comprehensive range of spray-applied Hybrid Polyurea and Pure Polyurea systems designed for waterproofing and protective coating applications across infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects. The range allows specifiers to choose from proven workhorse hybrids to higher-specification pure polyurea systems, depending on performance requirements and site conditions.

How are Drythane® hybrid polyureas different from most hybrids available today?
Many hybrid polyureas in the market are formulated to react extremely fast, which can limit proper wetting of the substrate. Drythane® hybrid systems are engineered with a slightly slower reaction profile, allowing better wetting and penetration into the substrate, improved mechanical bonding, and superior adhesion compared to many fast-reacting hybrid polyureas.

What performance levels are available in the Drythane® range?
The Drythane® portfolio is structured to deliver consistently high elongation with increasing mechanical strength. The workhorse and top-selling hybrid polyurea offers a tensile strength of approximately 18 MPa with elongation in the ~700% range. Higher-specification hybrid and pure polyurea systems offer tensile strengths of 25 MPa and above, while maintaining elongation in the ~700% range.

Why is elongation such a critical property in spray polyurea membranes?
High elongation enables the membrane to accommodate structural movement, thermal cycling, and micro-cracking without loss of waterproofing integrity. Drythane® membranes are designed to maintain flexibility while delivering strong mechanical performance.
