What is your opinion about the recent trend in your business segment.
While uPVC is still used at large in tier 2 & 3 cities for windows and doors, usage of materials such as aluminum & steel is getting traction across metro cities. The rise in overall temperature across geographies is increasing importance of insulation in residential and commercial construction. Technological advance-ments are helping in designing new and efficient solutions to address growing customer needs. Increasing awareness on saving our planet has reduced usage of wood across window and door industry significantly. Thanks to the technological advancements, the same wood finishes are now available in other materials such as uPVC, Aluminum and Steel also. NCL having all the range of materials in door and window segment in their fold is in a position to cater to all the clients.

How competitive is the Indian market today for your business.
The market has always been competitive. Being one of the fastest growing economies, lot of foreign companies have increased focus on promoting their products in India. Several Indian companies also have ramped up their production capacities to meet the growing demand in construction sector. With more competitors, customers get good range of price bands, product quality and service. But if you observe closely, there would be fewer competitors within same price band or same quality products as compared with overall number of competitors. NCL offers quality products in the market and we enjoy slight premium over our compe-titors due to our quality and services.

Do you have any expansion plan in Pipeline.
NCL Buildtek has always focused on delivering high quality products to its customers. We recently have launched a wide range of decorative and fire rated steel doors for residential and commercial sectors. We have set up a state of art manufacturing facility to manufacture master crafted steel doors in Hyderabad. Due to growing demand for our ALLURO range of system windows we are planning for new fabrication facilities in Hosur and Pune to cater south & west markets.

Can you discuss the impacts of increa-sing inflation over your business.
Rising costs have direct impact on raw material costs and due to the market competition, we are trying to observe the increases as much as possible by increasing operational efficiencies and optimizing the wastages.
