Putzmeister introduced Transit Mixers in 2018. In a few years, the company has established double-digit market share in this segment. Produced at Putzmeister production facility in Pune, customers can choose between P7+, P8 PTO, P9 PTO and P10 PTO options. These truck mixers are available through Putzmeister for retail customers, and for fully built vehicle (FBV) customers of Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland and Volvo Eicher.

Engineered for higher productivity
With a higher angle of drum, Putzmeister Transit Mixers offers a higher filling ratio and more concrete carrying capacity. The water volume of the different variants indicates this higher capacity: P7+ – 8,260 L, P8 PTO – 8,970 L, P9 PTO – 10,280 L and P10 PTO – 10,800 L. When you factor in a 23% bigger feeder hopper, and a 32% bigger discharge chute you get a truck mixer that can carry more, and load and discharge concrete faster.
Designed for powerful performance
Putzmeister Transit Mixers are powered by Kirloskar HA494, 70HP 4-cylinder air cooled or Mahindra 705DI 65HP water cooled engine. Gearbox with a reduction ratio of 100:1 powers handling of tough concrete mixes. 72cc/ 90cc hydraulic motor provides higher torque. The 18 L hydraulic oil cooler system is the highest in class and ensures optimal performance.
Durable build, long service class
Putzmeister transit mixers are built to last, utilizing high-quality materials to withstand harsh working environments. From the drum to the mounting plates, feed hopper and discharge chute, these components are offered in the highest in class thickness. The box frame offers a yield strength of 530 N/mm2 – the highest in its segment. This durability leads to longer service life and less frequent need for replacements, marking it as a wise long-term investment.

The mixers are equipped with powerful engines and hydraulic systems, enabling them to transport concrete seamlessly over long distances, even in challenging terrains.
